Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan said, “I never thought I would bring my own army chief.”
Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Wednesday, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif has always brought in an army chief of his choice by violating merit. They were afraid that I would bring General Faiz. “
“I used to say 26 years ago that Nawaz Sharif and Zardari are thieves,” he said. I started a jihad against them then.
“Nawaz Sharif’s aim is to control every institution that poses a threat to his corruption.”
Imran Khan further said, “I don’t need to have my own army chief. We have not spared any of our thefts.”
He said that Imran Khan wanted to keep his army chief. He (Nawaz Sharif) said that this army chief will remain for 15 years and then it will not be removed.
It should also be considered whether this means that if another army chief comes, his accountability will stop. It also means that your army chief needs to help them. “
The first thing he said was that Imran Khan would keep his army chief. I want to make one thing clear to you all today. I come before Allah and say that I never thought about who will be the army chief in November.
“It simply came to our notice then. It was in my mind that when the time came, I would make the best of me on merit. I have never violated merit in my life.
“I am not an enemy of the United States,” he said. Our richest Pakistanis live there, but when the US regime changes, does it do any good? ‘
“We said we are not with you in war, we are with you in peace. It’s not about opposing the United States, it’s about protecting the interests of our nation. “
Imran Khan said, “When the army was sent to Waziristan, I opposed it. The army was sent to Waziristan under US pressure.
“I was offended by the American letter, but I was even more offended when the conspiracy was hatched to impose these thieves on us.”
“I spoke to Neutrals that there are open and closed NAB cases against Shahbaz Sharif and his son,” the PTI chairman added. I never thought he would become the Prime Minister of this country. I kept thinking until the last minute that he could not be made Prime Minister.
At the end of his speech, he raised the question, “I have a question from my neutrals that if there is a robbery in the house, can the watchman remain neutral?”
