

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered to provide two helicopters for firefighting in Patnai area of Swat.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Sunday, the Prime Minister has ordered immediate action at the request of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
District Administration, Forest Department and Rescue 1122 are putting out the fire in Patnai, Mingora of Babuzai Tehsil.
Helicopters were called in to prevent the fire from spreading further due to dry weather and strong winds.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has immediately approved the request of the district administration and auxiliary agencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and issued instructions to put out the fire.
The Prime Minister directed that air support be provided immediately to put out the fire.
A forest fire broke out at six places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, engulfing houses in the mountains.
The PDMA has also issued a report on the damage caused by the forest fire in Shangla.
According to the report, a forest fire in Shangla killed four people, including a man, a woman and two children.
According to PDMA, rescue teams are working to control the fire in different districts. The PDMA is in close touch with the concerned agencies and the administration and is constantly monitoring the relief operations.
