

Shahid Khan Afridi while releasing a video message on his YouTube channel said that this message of mine is especially for my fans who have always supported me in my career and are as important to me as my family.
“I tried my best to get rid of PSL in a good way but my lower back injury is 15 years old and I have been playing with the same injury but now it has increased to such an extent that from the knees,” he said. There is a lot of pain up to the toes.
Shahid Afridi, who suffered from corona before the start of PSL 7, said, “I have been enduring this pain for a long time but now I have lost the courage to endure it. If I am healthy, then everything is fine.”
The former captain said that there is a gap of 2 to 3 months after PSL after which Kashmir Premier League will start.
“I am especially grateful to Nadeem Omar, the owner of the Quetta Gladiators franchise, for his tremendous support in all matters and I apologize for not being able to play the entire PSL,” Afridi said.
“I also thank my fans because I wanted to play the last PSL because of my fans,” he said.
Shahid Afridi further said that KPL and T10 leagues are coming up, the rehabilitation program will take 2 to 3 months after which he will come back in front of his fans in another league.
In the video message, Shahid Afridi asked his fans to pray for his health and may Allah keep him healthy.
It is to be noted that before the start of PSL 7, Shahid Afridi had a back problem due to which he came out of the bio-secure bubble and went to the hospital. On his return from the hospital, Shahid Afridi underwent corona test which was positive.
After taking a wicket during the match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators yesterday, Shahid Afridi, while celebrating, grabbed his back in such a way that it was clear that he was suffering from back pain.
