According to the Saudi media agency, a statement issued from the royal palace without giving further details about the health of Shah Salman said that his Shah Salman is being tested in a specialist hospital.
The statement said, “May God protect the servants of the Holy Mosque and may they enjoy good health and well-being.”
It should be noted that Saudi King Salman, after spending more than two and a half years as Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, became the King of the world’s largest oil exporter in 2015.
He has also been the governor of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, for more than 50 years.
The 86-year-old Saudi king underwent leaf surgery in 2020 and his heart pacemaker battery was replaced in March.
It should be noted that the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia and the next successor to the throne is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, popularly known as ‘MBS’, who changed the kingdom’s economy and made it dependent on oil. Reforms have begun to end.
