ROSE PARTY CAKE

On top decorate cake with rose petals and pistachios and serve.

Ingredients for Songe Cake:

SPONGE CAKE: All- purpose flour : 1 cup

Eggs : 4

Castor sugar : 1 cup

Baking powder 1 tsp

Vanilla essence: 1 tsp

Cream: 2 packets

Red cooking colour : 1 pinch

Strawberry jam: ¼ cup

lcing sugar: 3 tsps

Rose essence: 1 drop

Rose petals: A few

Green pistachio: 2 tsps

METHOD:

Sieve maida with baking powder, beat eggs one by one with sugar well, then add maida with vanilla essence bake in a pre-heated oven at 180oC for 25 minutes, cool it. Cut in half, on one half spread berry jam. Beat the cream with icing sugar, add a pinch of red colour, rose essence and give a layer of cream on the sponge. now put top half of the sponge and layer with beaten fresh cream evenly on cake. On top decorate cake with rose petals and pistachios and serve.
