The complainant said that when he reached near Patoki Saddar Police Station near Chak No. 7, two robbers stopped him at a gun point.
The robbers tied the men and the child to a tree and gang-raped the girl in front of their eyes after taking the four men on a motorcycle to a roadside nursery.
The FIR states that during the gang-rape, when the victim resisted and screamed for help, the accused tortured her.


He later snatched cash, a mobile phone and a motorcycle from the victim’s family.
Police shifted the girl to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Patoki for medical treatment.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz took notice of the incident and visited the residence of the victim in Khokhar Tochar Ashraf area of Chunian Tehsil.
Hamza Shahbaz met the victim girl, her father and other family members and expressed sympathy with the family and assured immediate arrest of the accused.
Talking to the family, he said that it was their duty to provide justice to the girl child and assured the family that all the requirements of justice would be met and the accused would not be able to escape punishment.
He further said that the government stands by the affected family and every possible help will be given to them.
He said that the case would be investigated by eminent and professional officers of Lahore.
Talking to media persons, the Chief Minister said that he felt the distress of the victim’s family and came to visit them and also sought a report on the gang-rape incident from the Inspector General of Police.
IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan also took notice of the incident and sought a report from the concerned RPO.
He directed the officers to arrest all the accused involved in the incident and keep in close touch with the DPO Kasur victim’s family.
District Police Officer Sohaib Ashraf told Dawn that the girl was discharged from the hospital after receiving medical treatment and counseling.
He said that they have formed five teams to arrest the suspects and a search operation has been launched in the area.
Later, in a video message on social media, the DPO confirmed the incident and said that the samples have been sent to the laboratory of Punjab Forensic Science Authority.
He claimed that a suspect had been arrested on suspicion but it was not immediately clear if he was involved.
Police registered a case against the two unidentified robbers under sections 376 (punishment of rape) and 392 (crime of robbery) of the PPC on the complaint of the girl’s uncle.
