Asaduddin Owaisi, a member of India’s lower house of parliament and head of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-e-Muslimeen, was shot dead in his car.
According to Indian media, Asaduddin Owaisi said on Thursday that two persons fired four shots at the tires of his car on the way from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh to New Delhi.
He said that after the firing, he left for his destination in another vehicle.
