Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that when he was in government, he was pressured to recognize Israel and messages were sent to think of his country, from whom the message came, he could not say yet.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan while talking to reporters in Peshawar also denied any contact with former President Asif Ali Zardari during the no-confidence motion.
Journalist Rizwan Ghalzai, who was present at the meeting, told Urdu News: “Former Prime Minister Imran Khan told reporters in a meeting about recognizing Israel. The message was to think of your country.
He did not say who was behind the pressure, but said the US-led lobby wanted Muslim countries to recognize Israel.
Responding to a question from a delegation of Pakistani-Americans about Israel in recent days, Imran Khan said, “If I had thought about recognizing Israel, this idea would have negated the dream of Pakistan and Quaid-e-Azam.” That’s why I didn’t come under pressure. “
According to journalist Rizwan Ghalzai, Imran Khan refrained from commenting on the role of the Establishment when asked about the political situation in the country.
“I don’t know what the role of the establishment is at the moment,” he said.
“When Imran Khan was asked if he had blocked the numbers of the people he had blocked, he said he did not want to talk about it,” he said.
Asked about the long march, he said that he would give the date of the long march after the decision of the Supreme Court.
“The impression that the long march ended under a deal is wrong. If it had not announced the end of the march, the blood would have been spilled.”
Speaking to Urdu News, journalist Abdul Qadir said that Imran Khan, while rejecting the conversation between former president Asif Ali Zardari and Malik Riaz, said, “I have the same position about Asif Ali Zardari for 26 years that PML-N And the PPP’s Nora wrestling continues. Imran Khan said that no member would appear before the Speaker to confirm his resignations and if anyone appeared before the Speaker, it would be tantamount to acknowledging this imported government.
