Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, who belongs to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said in the Upper House (Senate) that one thousand ghost employees have also been fired from PIA.
Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that the package was approved to remove 3,000 employees from PIA. He said that 1,900 PIA employees benefited from the VSS package.
According to Hum News, the Federal Minister of PTI told the Senate that the world has a crew of 250 employees per ship while PIA has a crew of 550 employees per ship.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami said in the House that we were told earlier that 1500 employees have been fired on fake degrees.
