The final arguments of the lawyers of the accused have started in the court of District and Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani in the murder case of Noor Mukadam, daughter of the former ambassador in Islamabad. ۔
During the arguments on Monday, lawyer Basharatullah raised questions on the interrogation and argued that there was no evidence against his client other than call record data. Police obtained call record data on July 27 and arrested the accused’s parents on July 24. Was done
Defendants’ attorneys said on what grounds a man was arrested who was on interim bail.
The lawyer said that on July 21, Zakir Jaffer appeared before the police, provided a pistol license, and on July 22 also stated to the police that if his intention was to hide something, why would he cooperate with the police?
The lawyer also objected to the CCTV footage and said that the police conducted a photogrammetry test to the extent of the accused but did not conduct a photogrammetry test of the victim. How was it assumed that the girl in the footage was Noor Mukaddam?

He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture and that his confession had been obtained through torture. She was there in July and had a mobile phone for 48 hours so she did not text or call anyone, proving that she was there voluntarily and was not forcibly detained at home. ۔ ‘
“My clients were in Karachi when the girl came of her own free will. Do they know what’s going on in the backyard?” As far as the call record is concerned, there is no resurrection between the father and the son.
The lawyer argued that according to the prosecution’s call record data, Noor Mukaddam had contacted his mother more than once but she never said that he had been abducted or imprisoned while the victim’s call record data contained only one page. And the data of the accused’s parents is presented on 64 pages.
He said that the call record data provided was not verified by anyone and no seal was present.
Zakir Jaffer’s lawyer said: “The call record data is self-made. The plaintiff stated in his statement that he was present in Gulraiz for the scapegoat while the data provided by him does not prove that he went to Gulraiz.” He said that the mobile data has not been retrieved yet. It was said about the mobile of the accused that his screen was broken while the password of the victim’s mobile was not found. Is not done? Laboratories have become so modern that even deleted data can be recovered.
“There is no evidence against my client to be acquitted,” said Zakir Jaffer’s lawyer.
The court has adjourned the hearing of the case till February 16. At the next hearing, the lawyers of the main accused will give final arguments.
