

Pakistan’s first Muscat Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Anita Karim has defeated her Australian rival Uniha.
Anita Karim’s brother Ulumi Karim shared a photo immediately after the competition on Twitter and wrote that “Anita has managed to get another W in the Fair Tax Fight promotion in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.”
Ulumi Karim, who is also an MMA fighter, congratulated Anita Karim and added that “Anita Karim is one of the first women in Pakistan and one of the few women in the world to fight in the famous Lampini Stadium.”
Anita Karim, a mixed martial arts fighter known as Arm Collector, is from Gilgit-Baltistan.
Social media users were also very enthusiastic about his victory in the fight, which is reflected in his posts and comments.
Mixed martial arts is a dangerous sport in which usually women do not take part but Anita from Gilgit-Baltistan not only came to this sport but also established herself as an excellent athlete.
Another Twitter user, Tariq Shah, paid tribute to her and wrote, “Anita Karim is the pride of Pakistan.”
