Missile crashes in pakistan

The Indian government has confirmed that one of its missiles landed in Pakistani territory on Wednesday due to a “technical glitch”.

According to the Press Information Department of the Indian Ministry of Defense, “a missile was accidentally fired due to a technical glitch during routine maintenance.”

A statement issued by the Indian government said that it had taken note of the incident and had ordered a high-level inquiry.

The Indian government further said that it was found that the missile had landed in an area of Pakistan. The incident is tragic but it is gratifying that no casualties were reported.

It may be recalled that on Thursday, the DG ISPR said that on March 9, something had entered Pakistani airspace from India. The Pakistan Air Force fully monitored it.

During a press conference, Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia, while giving a multimedia briefing about the incident, said that “this object fell near Mian Channu which also caused some damage to civilians.”

“At 6:33 pm on March 9, we monitored an object within 104 kilometers of the Indian border. The object was flying at 40,000 feet. It was traveling at a very high speed. ”After traveling 70 to 80 km, the object turned to the right and started moving towards Pakistan in the northwest with the same height and speed. The Pakistan Air Force was constantly monitoring the situation.

The object then crossed the international border and entered Pakistan from south of Bahawalpur. And then it disappeared near Mian Channu at 6:50 pm.

The object covered a distance of 140 km in Pakistan’s airspace. It traveled a total of six minutes and 46 seconds from start to finish, while within Pakistani territory it lasted three minutes and 44 seconds.

DG ISPR said that Pakistan condemns this violation of airspace. Whatever the reason for this incident, India has to explain. We will not make any provocative statements about it. “

“It was a supersonic flying object launched from the ground but it was unarmed. We can’t say what it was.” India has to explain this.
