In view of increasing cases of Corona virus in Pakistan, it has been decided to impose restrictions on mosques once again.

The NCOC has issued instructions for the implementation of Corona SOPs by removing carpets from mosques and places of worship, maintaining a social distance of 6 feet, shortening Friday sermons, and visiting masked and vaccinated persons at places of worship.

The NCOC said that the sick and elderly should pray at home, Friday prayers should be offered preferably in open spaces, windows and doors should be kept open for ventilation in mosques, while the fifth wave of Corona killed 12 more people in the last 24 hours. , 6540 new patients came forward, the rate of positive cases increased to 11.1% while in Karachi the rate increased to 45.14.

Corona has been confirmed among 99 passengers at Karachi airport due to which they have been stopped from traveling. Booster fee for travel abroad has been abolished. According to Punjab Education Department, schools are not being closed at present. It will be decided to close the school keeping in view the rate of positive cases. Teams of Punjab Health Department will conduct corona test in schools. Cases are increasing in Punjab including Lahore.

Yesterday 12.8 positive cases were recorded in Lahore, Rawalpindi 13.1, Faisalabad 8.4, Multan 2, Gujranwala 0.7%.
