A young girl named Iman Vellani was looking at some Marvel character books at a local bookstore in Canada when she saw something she had never seen before.
He had a face that looked like his. It was Kamala Khan who became the new Miss Marvel and became the first Muslim superhero in the history of the film world.
Little did she know that she would play Kamala Khan at the age of 19 as Ms Marvel in the Disney movie series.
“I didn’t think such a story was possible. I had never acted in a film before,” he said.
However, she was cast in the movie Ms Marvel in her high school days when her experience was zero.
Ms Marvel’s superhero science fiction character has previously appeared in numerous movies, web series and books.
Iman Vellani has said that playing the role of Ms Marvel in the film, he thinks that it is just a wonderful dream.
“I was born in Pakistan and was very young when I moved to Canada with my parents,” he said.
In the early days it was not easy to find my identity here, it was a very different culture, I had no Muslim or Pakistani friend here. I felt so lonely that no one could understand.
The biggest and most interesting thing for me was sitting on the movie set with my co-star Rush Shah and listening to Bollywood music which I used to listen to only with my parents.
