I went to my friends family reunion with , and now I’m married to her uncle

A FAMILY REUNION isn’t the most likely place to meet your future husband.

But, for hairdresser Hanna Hellbusch Simpson, attending a family gathering with her best friend led her to the love of her life.

Hanna, 27, explained how she met and married her best friend’s uncle, Air Force missileer Jedediah Abraham, 36, at the gathering.

Simpson wrote in an Instagram post about their love storey that it was “love at first sight.”

“Consider this: you just passed your last state board exam and are on your way to your best friend’s family reunion.

“She warned you that her grandmother would try to set you up with her uncle Jedediah Abraham, but you’re just going to have fun and enjoy the break,” she recalled.

She went on, saying: “Anyway, you walk into the cabin, greet everyone, and then the man sitting by the door stands up to shake your hand, and IT’S ALL OVER.

“It truly felt like a fairytale when we shook hands, and I knew that was it.”

“We married a little less than four months later.”

The couple married in 2018 and are expecting a baby boy in 2020.

Simpson has been very open about her unique love storey, and she has shared several posts about it on her social media platforms.

For example, when shocked people asked if she and her friend were still close after marrying into her family, she showed photo evidence that they are.

And, yes, she is well aware that she is now her best friend’s aunt.

And, while they’re still very close, a person claiming to be their best friend who set them up by accident admitted it was “very uncomfortable” for her at first.
