Nusrat Ghani, a member of parliament from Britain’s Conservative Party, has claimed that his Muslim faith “caused unrest for his fellow MPs”.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Nusrat Ghani told The Times in response to a question when asked why he was removed from the ministry.
