

The Election Commission of Pakistan has published non-final lists for the forthcoming general elections and more than 20,000 display centers have been set up across the country.
According to the Election Commission officials, “After the completion of the first phase and printing of the preliminary electoral rolls from NADRA, the Election Commission has posted the preliminary electoral rolls on various display centers for public inspection from May 21, 2022.”
20,159 display centers have been set up across the country. Details of these display centers are also available on the Election Commission’s website which will remain open till June 19, 2022.
The ECP further said that if a eligible person’s vote is not registered, he can register his vote according to the permanent or temporary address of the identity card. While the votes of the deceased can be cast and the data can be corrected according to the identity card.
To know the details of your vote registration can be verified by sending a message to the ID card number 8300 and for any kind of correction in this, contact the office of the Election Commission or the nearest display center.
Officials of the Election Commission said that Form 15 will be filled for registration and transfer of votes while Form 17 will be filled for correctness of data.
“These forms can also be downloaded from the Election Commission’s website which will have to be submitted to the Election Commission office or the nearest display center by June 19 after providing the details of the data.”
Election Commission officials said that government employees and their families can register and transfer their votes at the temporary address while any voter can fill up Form 16 against any unrelated voter in the electoral rolls of their constituency. Can submit an objection.
