The cast of the popular sitcom “Friends” has paid tribute to their co-star Matthew Perry, who died on October 28, 2023 at the age of 54.
In a joint statement, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer said that Perry was “a kind and gentle soul who will be deeply missed.”
“Matthew, on screen and off, was a generous and loving person. He was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known, and his timing was impeccable. I’ll miss him so much,” Aniston said.
“The world lost a bright light today. Matthew was a kind, caring, and funny person. My condolences to his family and friends,” Cox said.
“Matthew was a brother to me, and I loved him. He’ll be deeply missed,” LeBlanc said.
“Matthew was a comedic genius, and his work on ‘Friends’ brought joy to millions around the world. He was also a very kind and caring person. I’ll miss him dearly,” Schwimmer said.
“Matthew was a dear friend and a brilliant actor. His work will be missed by so many,” Kudrow said.
Perry was best known for his role as Chandler Bing on “Friends,” which aired from 1994 to 2004. He also starred in the films “Seventeen Again” and “Fools Rush In.”
