The statement added that the decision to suspend the membership was taken after receiving a report stating that the normalization committee had taken full control of the PFF’s offices and was in a position to manage its finances. in.

FIFA has also approved a 12-month extension of the normalization committee’s mandate.

It may be recalled that the membership of Pakistan Football Federation was suspended in April 2021 when a group occupied the PFF headquarters.

FIFA had said at the time that Pakistan’s membership would remain suspended until the Pakistan Football Federation normalization committee returned its powers.

FIFA has said that any outside interference is not acceptable under FIFA rules and regulations. FIFA says the occupation of Pakistan football headquarters is a serious violation of FIFA rules and regulations.
