Fakhr Zaman’s excellent batting, Lahore Qalandars won by eight wickets

Ahsan Ali of Quetta Gladiators scored 8 and Umar Akmal scored 25 runs.

Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by eight wickets in the 20th match of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Sunday, Lahore Qandars completed the target of 142 runs in the 18th over.

Lahore Qalandars opener Abdullah Shafiq scored 19 runs and was caught by Iftikhar Ahmed off Ghulam Mudassir. While Fakhr Zaman and Kamran Ghulam scored half centuries.

Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed was dismissed for 12 off 11 balls. While Iftikhar Ahmed scored a half century and got out on the ball of Haris Raouf.

Ahsan Ali of Quetta Gladiators scored 8 and Umar Akmal scored 25 runs.

Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled out Quetta Gladiators’ James Venus and Jason Roy for zero in the first over.

David Weiss and Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets each while Haris Rauf and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.

Lahore Qalandars have performed well so far in PSL. Lahore Qalandars have played six matches so far and are second in the points table after winning four matches.

Quetta Gladiators have also played six matches so far but are fourth in the points table after winning three and losing three.
