The principal of Dow Medical College in the court of Judicial Magistrate Sharqi in Karachi submitted the cell pack report in the court of Judicial Magistrate Sharqi Aftab Ahmed Baghio.
Two days ago, a 10-member medical board conducted a medical examination of Dua Zahra at the Service Hospital.
According to the report submitted to the court of Dua Zahra, to determine the age of Dua Zahra, he was presented before the Special Medical Board on July 2, 2022 in which X-rays of various parts of his body were taken.
The medical board said in its report that after a physical examination, Dua Zahra is between 14 and 15 years old.
According to the board, he is between 13 and 15 years old according to the dental examination, while after the examination of the bones, he is said to be between 16 and 17 years old.
A 10-member special medical board headed by Dr. Saba Sohail, principal of Dow Medical College, concluded that Dua Zahra is between 15 and 16 years old and more than 15 years old.
It may be recalled that Dua had taken the position that she was 18 years old and had claimed that she had married Zaheer Ahmed of her own free will, however, she insisted that her daughter was a minor.
Gibran Nasir, lawyer of Dua’s father Syed Mehdi Kazmi, while talking to media, confirmed that the medical report states that Dua is around 15 years old, therefore the girl’s statements have been proved wrong.
Earlier, a medical test conducted on the orders of the Sindh High Court had determined that Dua was 17 years old.
Gibran Nasir pointed out that today’s medical report supports the position of Dua’s parents and that is why this case falls under the category of kidnapping.
He added that the law also states that it is a crime to marry under the age of 16 and any physical contact with a child under the age of 16 is considered a sexual offense.

It may be recalled that a 14-year-old girl Dua Zahra went missing from Golden Town area of Karachi on April 16 this year, after which the police raided various places to search for her, however, the police failed to find Dua Zahra. Was

Due to Dua Zahra’s disappearance case, the Sindh government was facing severe criticism and questions were being raised on the performance of the provincial government from various quarters.
However, during a press conference on April 25, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had confirmed that Dua Zahra had been traced and he was fine.
On April 26, Punjab police received prayers from Zahra Okara, after which she was produced before a magistrate’s court in Lahore. At the same time, it was found out that Dua Zahra had married a boy named Zaheer.
The magistrate rejected the police’s request to send Dua Zehra to Darulaman and declared her a free citizen.
In addition, Dua Zahra released a video message in which she said, “My family wanted to force me to marry someone else, they beat me, no one kidnapped me, I went home of my own free will.” I have come from and married Zaheer of my choice.
