Amir Liaquat Hussain’s third wife Dania Bibi has approached the court for separation from her husband only three months after the marriage.
The third wife of former TV anchor and politician Amir Liaquat Hussain has filed a suit in Bahawalpur Division Family Court seeking annulment of marriage, non-maintenance and dowry.
According to the request, the total value of Haq Mehr, one room, car and jewelery is Rs. 115.1 million.
It may be recalled that Amir Liaquat Hussain had married Dania Bibi, 18, a resident of Lodhran for the third time in February this year after separating from his second wife Tobia Amir.
The petition for annulment of the marriage states that “Amir Liaquat got the relationship by showing the green garden to my parents, and said that after the marriage I will give the plaintiff a separate room, car and all kinds of comforts.”
“Initially, Amir Liaquat’s attitude was good but later it deteriorated and violence became his habit,” the petition said. She endured all the cruelty and oppression for the honor of her parents.
A petition filed by Dania Bibi, the third wife of Amir Liaquat, has also accused Amir Liaqat of drugging.
Aamir Liaqat is addicted to other drugs besides ice. They force the plaintiff to use drugs and force her to appear before non-males.
According to the petition, the plaintiff was also forced to make inappropriate videos, and when he refused, he was kept locked in a room for five days.
