The Destan series is the story of a mountain girl named Akkaz. A Turk belongs to the Mongol tribe. This place is ruled by a Mongol king named Gok Khan.
One day in a war with the Chinese, Gok Khan finds out that his wife is a talisman woman who belongs to the Akkaz tribe and is the daughter of his chief. She has betrayed Gok Khan along with her father. Proof of this is the handkerchief that came out of the pocket of a Chinese soldier on which all the information about Gok Khan’s army is written. Gok Khan kills his wife on the charge of treason. Where her father tries to avenge his daughter from Gok Khan. But he is killed by his hands. In the end, Gok Khan deported these tribesmen. On which Akiks’ father also wields a sword against him. But he too is killed by Gok Khan. Later Sardar’s other daughter swears that she will take revenge of her father from Gok Khan. Akiks also hates Gok Khan in her heart and fifteen years have passed. Now Akiks is young.
Will Akkaz be able to get his revenge from Gok Khan? It will be interesting to see.
The highlight of the series is the Mongols’ way of life, their manners, and the last rites of the deceased. I don’t think there has been any such drama on Mongols before. So far the Mongols have been seen only in Artigal and Uthman. Which has never been explained in more detail and the good thing is that unlike Artigal and Uthman, the Mongols appear to be clean and in good condition.
