

A foreign woman affiliated with a UN agency in Islamabad was allegedly raped by a home security guard and escaped.
According to the case registered at Aabpara police station, a woman from Sweden said that the security guard of her house entered her bedroom at night, raped her and fled the scene.
Police have not yet arrested the accused.
The victim told police that she moved to Pakistan on January 7 this year to work with a UN agency.
In the registered case, the victim has named the private security company and its guard Muhammad Safir as the accused.
The foreign woman, while filing a case with the police, said that on the night of the incident, she heard some noises in the bedroom while she was sleeping and before she could recover, the guard guarding the house, Muhammad Safir, attacked her and knocked her down.
According to the victim, she resisted but was helpless in the face of security forces.
The woman, who was allegedly raped, told police that on one occasion she thought the accused would strangle her to death.
The woman said she recognized the accused in the dark by her voice when she told him to go to the washroom and wash his face, which had bled during the resistance.
According to the FIR, after the accused left, the woman locked herself in the bedroom and called the police for help.
At around 1.30 pm, the police registered a case after recording the statement of the victim foreign woman and shifted her to the hospital for medical treatment.
