Adam Mohammad, a British pilgrim of Iraqi descent, fulfilled his greatest dream of reaching Mecca on foot, eager to perform the Hajj.
According to Arab News, Adam Mohammed, 52, arrived in Saudi Arabia via the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
The British citizen has covered this historic journey of about six and a half thousand kilometers by walking an average of 17.8 kilometers per day in ten months and 26 days.
On arrival in Makkah, he was received in the holy city by his two daughters, along with many pilgrims and locals. Adam Muhammad’s family arrived in Saudi Arabia by plane from Britain.
Arriving in Mecca, the British citizen said, “I am very happy to have completed my holy journey and at the same time I am overwhelmed by the overwhelming welcome and generosity and love from Saudi citizens and other foreigners.”

Expressing his feelings, he said that he would be thankful to Allah Almighty on the day of ‘Arafah, with whose command and help I was able to make this journey, and also to try to fulfill my special purpose for Hajj.
Adam Mohammad said that this journey was not easy for me but by the will of Allah this courage was created in me.
He said that after the global epidemic of corona was confined to homes, he started to be more engaged in reciting the Holy Quran.
Suddenly one day a voice came from inside me which woke me up that I have to go to Makkah on foot to get the happiness of Hajj.
I mentioned this to an organization based in the UK and with their guidance and donations from my compatriots, I started preparing for this holy journey. It took me two months to prepare.
“During the trip, people from different countries personally helped me. Some of them pushed my trolley and some of them arranged my rest and provided me with food,” he said.
Adam Mohammad has documented the experience through his social media channels, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. “I used this trip to spread the message of peace and equality in the world,” he said.
In the end, Adam Mohammad exclusively said that this trip of mine was not for fame but only keeping in view the religious tendency.
