Prior to the Lahore Sessions Court, the Family Court had also declared actress Meera as Atiq-ur-Rehman’s wife in 2018, against which the actress had filed an appeal.
At my request, Sessions Judge Mazhar Hussain heard the case on January 31, during which the lawyers of both the parties completed their arguments.
The hearing of the case was going on for a long time and after all the arguments were completed, the Sessions Court rejected the application of actress Meera and ruled in favor of Atiq-ur-Rehman.
The Sessions Court in its summary judgment rejected Meera’s plea stating that the actress is the wife of Atiq-ur-Rehman.
A man named Atiq-ur-Rehman first claimed before 2009 that Meera had married him and despite being his wife, he married Captain Naveed on the basis of marriage.
Myra had filed a petition for denial of marriage in July 2009 after a man named Atiq-ur-Rehman claimed marriage over marriage.
Dozens of hearings were held in the case, and the court even issued an arrest warrant for Meira for non-appearance.
Almost a decade later, the Lahore Family Court ruled in June 2018 that the actress was Atiq-ur-Rehman’s wife.
The actress had filed a petition in the Sessions Court against the decision of the Family Court and there were hearings for almost three years and the court ruled on January 31 that the actress is the wife of Atiq-ur-Rehman.
The actress has been claiming to me that she did not marry Atiq-ur-Rehman and the pictures she took with the man are actually part of a drama shoot.
However, according to Atiq-ur-Rehman, the pictures that the actress calls part of the drama are actually pictures of her wedding.
Meera has always said contradictory things about her marriage to Captain Naveed including Atiq-ur-Rehman and she has been taking utorn on her statements.
Meera is also known as the Scandal Queen in Pakistan while many people keep questioning her mental health.
Meera is also well known for her erroneous English speaking and she has been making headlines in this regard.
