In the United Arab Emirates, the Federal Agency for National Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security has introduced a five-year multiple family tourist visa through a smart system. Citizens of any country can obtain a visa by fulfilling the prescribed conditions.
According to Emirates Daily, the federal agency says that the family visa holder will be allowed to stay in the Emirates for 90 days. It can also be extended for another 90 days.
The statement said that ‘must come to the Emirates within 60 days from the date of visa issuance, otherwise the visa will be cancelled.’
The federal agency said that “children under 18 years of age will be included in the family visa, while people over 18 years of age will have to apply separately for the visa.”
It was said in the statement that the money guarantee for family tourist visa is fixed at three thousand 25 dirhams. The visa fee which includes health insurance is 750 dirhams.
The agency has set nine conditions for family visas. These include a six-month bank statement issued on letterhead with the bank’s seal affixed, $4,000 bank balance and health insurance from the Emirates. The duration of the visa will be 180 days.
Once the visa is issued, it can be extended for another 90 days once a year. 90 days per year will be calculated from the visa issue date instead of the AD calendar. The visa will be issued for a period of five years.
The statement said that the visa will be canceled in case of overstaying in the UAE.
