The first match of the current season of Legends League Cricket Masters was played in Doha.
India’s Gautam Gambhir played a brilliant innings of 54 runs against Misbah-ul-Haq, but he could not win the match for his team.
Playing first, Asia Lions scored 165 runs. Misbah-ul-Haq scored 73 runs off 50 balls.
In reply, the team of India Maharajas could only score 154 runs.
Asia Lions bowler Sohail Tanveer sent three players to the pavilion by giving 27 runs.

Cricket fans saw former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi and former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir in action during the match between Asia Lions and India Maharajas in Qatar’s capital Doha on Friday.
What is Legends League Cricket?
Legends League is a private league based on the T20 cricket format in which retired players from around the world participate.
The first edition of this league was played in Muscat, the capital of Oman, in January last year.
Three teams India Maharajas, Asia Lions and World Giants are participating in this tournament.
In this league, India Maharajas will be captained by Gautam Gambhir, Asia Lions will be captained by Shahid Afridi, while World Giants will be captained by Aaron Finch.
In the Legends League cricket, each team will play two matches against the other team, after which the first team on the points table will directly reach the finals, while the second and third ranked teams will play an eliminator match.
