A boat crash in Italy: The body of a 15 -year -old man from Peshawar was found five days later

Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three suspects on charges of illegally sending citizens abroad.

The body of Azan Afridi, another Pakistani citizen, who lost his life in a boat crash in Italy, was found five days later.

Last week, a boat sank on it, killing 59 people, including two Pakistani nationals, while seven Pakistani nationals were killed in Libya in a separate boat sinking.

The Foreign Office of Pakistan has also confirmed the death of nine Pakistani nationals in both incidents, while 17 Pakistanis were rescued by the Italian rescue team.

Peshawar Gulberg resident Azan Afridi’s family says he was dreaming of a bright future and left his education incomplete.

The 15 -year -old Adan Afridi was a ninth grade student. His father was the former deputy of Gulberg.
Azan Afridi’s cousin Waqas Afridi told Urdu News that a maternal uncle of Azan is in Italy, who he was about to go for education.

“When the accident happened, the rest of the Adhan’s companions were rescued but the Adhan was missing. Now his body will arrive home in two days. ‘

Three suspects arrested

Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three suspects on charges of illegally sending citizens abroad.

A statement issued by the FIA on Thursday night said that he was arrested on the identification of two suspects arrested before Gujarat.

Earlier on Wednesday, the FIA arrested two people in Kharian, who were involved in sending Pakistani nationals to Libya, according to the agency.

Referring to the investigation, an FIA spokesman said, “Raja Raheel and Safian, arrested by Kharian, had taken money from the relatives of the victims of the boat crash in Libya, after which the money was made by their group.” Transfer to account.

According to the research agency, people involved in human trafficking first take money from those seeking to go abroad illegally and later determine their destination.

“The Pakistani embassy in Italy is in touch with Italian authorities and is making arrangements to hand over the bodies of the survivors and the victims to their families,” the Foreign Office says.

On the other hand, Pakistani embassy in Libya is trying to identify the bodies of Pakistani nationals there.
