On people’s wrong criticism of the Mughal emperors, Naseeruddin Shah said in an interview given to Indian Express recently that if the Mughals were really so cruel, then Indians should not forget all the historical and beautiful buildings built by them like the Taj Mahal, Lal Qala and Qutub Minar should also be demolished.

He questioned why Indian people consider Taj Mahal and Qutub Minar as their history and are proud of them.

Talking about the Mughal emperors, Naseeruddin Shah made it clear that Indian people misrepresent their history and believe in the wrong history written by them.

According to the legendary actor, the Mughals did not come to loot India but they came to build their homes here, they came to make this land their own country and they did so and made India.

The Bollywood actor said that those who criticize the Mughals cannot distinguish between all the Mughal kings and they have no knowledge about the exploits and atrocities of Timur’s great-grandfather, Jahangir and Akbar Badshah, just by hearing the name Mughal. Criticize them.

In this regard, India Today reported that Naseeruddin Shah said that just as the Indian government has changed the names of 40 cities, towns and villages of the Mughal era, similarly the Taj Mahal, Qutb Minar and Lal were built by them. The fort should also be demolished.
