On Twitter, the world’s biggest social media website, the trends of ‘RIP Twitter’ i.e. ‘Rest in Peace Twitter’ and ‘Goodbye Twitter’ are continuing, in which users are expressing fear of the closure of this blog site.
On Friday, Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, tweeted a photo of a grave with the inscription ‘Twitter Bird’.
In an earlier tweet, Elon Musk wrote, “And, we hit another all-time high in Twitter usage.”
With this joking tweet, Elon Musk apparently tried to tell users that he was getting more attention this way.
American journalist Lothi Huber wrote that “everyone is calling Twitter God Hafiz and we are all still here.” I feel like I’m at a Midwestern dinner party.’
Tens of thousands of users have shared interesting memes within a few hours.
Many users are asking the question if Twitter is really going to shut down. While many have written that Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion only to shut it down.
Addressing Elon Musk, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry wrote, “We cannot imagine the world without Twitter, so solve the problem.”
Several users jokingly shared the link of their Facebook and Instagram accounts and wrote that if Twitter is closed, they should be followed here.
A Twitter handle named Sanam Javed Khan wrote that ‘one wrong person can sink the whole ship if he gets on a big set. You will understand that I am talking about Pakistan, but not now I am talking about Twitter.
Earlier it was reported that an estimated hundreds of Twitter employees have started to leave the company as Elon Musk told them to be prepared to ‘work longer hours in difficult conditions’.
