Sources in the British royal family have said that Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Merkel will not publish an investigation report into allegations of misconduct by the royal staff.

A senior member of the royal family was quoted as saying that details of the report, which will be released on Thursday, would be kept secret.

Buckingham Palace launched an investigation last year and collected statements from royal family staff based on their experience working with the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Merkel.

Sources in the royal palace said that as a result of the investigation, suggestions were made which are part of the report and policies and procedures have been changed as required.

In an interview with American TV show host Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Meghan Merkel and her husband Prince Harry accused anonymous members of the royal family of racism. Relationships are strained.

“There is no protection from the royal family. The royal family even objected that our baby would be black,” Merkel said in an interview.

Meghan also said that she was so unhappy with the royal family that she even thought of committing suicide because she was under stress and wanted help from the royal family which she did not get.
In response to these allegations, Buckingham Palace issued a statement from the Queen in which she said that the whole family was saddened to learn how challenging the last few years had been for Harry and Meghan.

The statement expressed concern over allegations of racism and said the issue would be resolved privately at the family level.

After stepping down from the monarchy and moving to the United States, Meghan Merkel and Prince Harry attended the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this month.

Royal Palace sources say that although the relationship between Prince Harry and his father Prince Charles is strained, Prince Charles’ first meeting with his one-year-old granddaughter Lily Butt at the ceremony was very emotional.
