The government of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is facing another scandal for violating lockdown laws.

According to the AFP news agency, British police have said that Corona is violating the rules and is investigating the participation of dozens of high-ranking officials during the ceremony at 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister’s House.

In May 2020, Prime Minister Boris Johnson allegedly organized an informal party on the lawn of his official residence at a time when gatherings were banned by the government.

An e-mail leaked Monday night revealed that top government official Martin Reynolds had invited more than 100 colleagues from 10 Downing Street to attend a ceremony attended by the prime minister and his entourage. The wife also attended.

Similar allegations were made last month about the celebrations at 10 Downing Street, which took place during a lockdown near Christmas 2020.

The scandal prompted Prime Minister Boris Johnson to appoint another senior official, Xu Gray, who has been tasked with investigating the allegations.

A statement from London Police said the party was investigating possible lockout rules for the May party.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has expressed ignorance that 10 Downing Street has violated any rules during the global epidemic.

Government official Martin Reynolds wrote in an e-mail sent in May 2020 that “after a very busy time, in this beautiful season, have a drink with a social distance on the lawn at 10 Downing Street.”

The e-mail was sent at a time when British citizens were going through their first lockdown and any kind of outdoor social gathering was banned.
